I used shocks that I bought from Nappa Auto Parts. I used a shocks with
10mm ball attachment, extension measurement of a min. 17" and a max. 0f 19" with a min. force of 45LBS and max. of 50LBS. I then bought a 3FT pc. of aluminum angle from the hardware store. You could buy all of this at McMaster-Carr I was too impatient to wait so I paid the extra money to have it now. I had to do some drilling, cutting, grinding, sanding and painting but only on the aluminum angle.
