in order to have your insurance to cover everything without having you pay anything, you need to make a police report. If you goto your near by police station, they'll make you fill out the details of the accident. The insurance company will then get this report from the police station to make sure its not a fraud. But then again......do you really wanna go through all this?(very time consuming) I'd say just check your local shop first for the price of your wheel damage and just cover it yourself if it does cost too much. And sorry about your bad luck
