The car had only 12 miles on it (has only 260 now). Is this a problem for new engines? Any experience with negative effects of high oil temps in the Z? I drive a touring with sport package and auto.
I had the same experience with my first engine. As you may have guessed, at velocity, more air cools the oil. Just watch it and check the engine oil level every so often.

I installed an oil cooler on my 2nd engine.
