so when removing it, the tape wont be that strong that it will require alot of force to pry off (and possibly risk busting the diffuser (since it lightweight/fragile)?
i guess i should re-rub the area on the car again with rubbing alcohol to remove any of the VHM tape residue?

when u say double up at the top with the vhb tape, do you mean to put 2 strips side by side? or stack them ontop of each other to make them double the thickness?

hehe thats knives car (i just pinched his pic to demonstrate where my issue is)
but i am getting the same exhaust so atleast i know i'll need to get the tips lowered a touch
