Nice to see the birth of a 370z forum even before its presentation!
I live in northern Italy, on the western coast of lake Maggiore, 70km north from Milan.
I'm a Z enthusiast, I used to have a gun-grey one until 2005, when I sold it for a Lotus Elise R. I was bored by its weight, but I've never forget it, it was probably the most interesting car in the world of affordable vehicles.
The Elise was beautiful, the best car you could buy for driving on the public roard, but it also made it possible for me to understand that I'll never buy another one. I needed a more versatile car, so, having had a 350Z before and wanting to try something else, here I am with my Porsche Cayman S. What can I say about it? Perfect car, as only german people can be, but it doesn't have a "soul". The 350z was not the fastest one, was not the prettiest one, but she could say something new to the world. It is an Obamacar!
I am now sure I'm japanese inside and I'm looking forward to touch the 370Z when it will land down here. I'll probably sell my Cayman for it.
Problem is, I don't like the lights very much. And I hope it will be "thinner" and lower than it seems on the pics (but I'm not the kind of guy to keep it OEM!)

Bye!

Welcome the forums, Davide. We are glad to have you as a member. First of all, your English is perfect. I have always wanted to go to Italy. One of my friend lives there (I'll find out where) in Italy and he says it's beautiful. You guys make the best sports car in the world.

You have had some very nice cars. The Z has it's own heart. Words can't describe it but when the exhaust roars at 5000 rpm, it's just something else. It may not the fastest or the lightest sports car on the road but it's most certainly a fun car. BTW, I have always wanted to drive the Lotus Elise. Hopefully one day I'll drive one just to see what it's made of.

The new Z will be a very interesting car. It's shorter chassis, 338 HP (speculated), and lighter weight 3135ish lbs, will give the new Z a whole new category. There have been rumors that Nissan is targeting the new Z against the Porsche.

You really gotta see the car in person and test drive it. The car will look so much better in person.

Keep us posted and again enjoy your stay here
