I think i did that one with aperture priority using a high F-stop to maximize depth of field. The full auto mode used a larger aperture and blurred the distant objects including the front wheels to some extent.

I did play with the levels using the very limited options in the inluded Pentax software. I think I was the one who overexposed that shot. Straight from the camera it actual looked a bit dull to me.
