Default Survey: Roadster Price Cut-Offs

Hey guys, I'm new here and am looking to own a ZR. I went to a dealer the other day and was shocked they were quoting me nearly 52k. A look at inventory online shows most dealer stock are at the 45k - 48k range.

That got me thinking, why would they price them so high to the point where people would consider the German roadsters, especially with some top problems popping up on the z. I'm wondering, if there is really actual demand to back the supply in that price range, or are dealers setting themselves up from having a huge stock of overpriced stock that they will have to give away at huge discounts when the next model year comes up.

Question is, of all 370Z Roadster owners, who bought up to 40k and who bought above 40k? If you can give specific pricing, that would be beneficial to all. Thanks.
