yah, just make sure you clean the area with rubbing alcohol before (the side and wraparound back side edge), make your template, cut it to size, dry place it onto the trim, heat it a little bit, use your nail or plastic razor/squeegee and push it into the gap. i did the same for the door trims as well. perfect finish.
