Concerning Brooke's post

Yes, it has been said, and probably conclusively proven that the first and second batch of Hiro wheels were prone to cracking. I remember this being a problem several years ago (3 years or so). However, as I understand it, this is no longer an issue. By "this" I mean cracking under normal driving circumstances. Any wheel can crack if enough force is applied but these cracked under significantly less force than a wheel should crack. That being said I had set of Axis Reverbs on my 350z and never had a problem with them so it's difficult to say with any high degree of certainty that Axis makes "good wheels" or "bad wheels"; all that can be said is that there was an issue with these wheels in their first generation some 3 odd years ago which seems to have subsequently been ameliorated.

I say this as clarification of his post because I didn't feel he told the whole story. He is right though and this should be considered in case you’re thinking of buying these. Caveat emptor as they say.
