i'm not talking about front plates as much as like, meter running out etc. I understand the logic behind enforcing metered parking, but at the same time i come to a question. I'm pretty sure anyone who has a job that causes other people problems, has some way of rationalizing it. Whether it be a repo guy (who is taking cars from people who HAVENT paid for them or whoever) What i don't understand is how a police officer really feels like they are protecting and serving by standing there waiting for your meter to run out, so that when you get there 3 minutes later, you have to pay a parking ticket. I understand giving parking tickets if the meter is way over etc, but come on, i've seen them wait there for it. I also understand writing tickets when someone is illegally parked in front of a hydrant or a fire zone etc, but not for waiting for a meter to expire so they can get some money for their municipality.
