It would jerk as soon as I let out the clutch. So I just ran without the SRM for the rest of the trip. I am not sure if the tranny was just to hot and it was messing up?? Who knows. I can see if you are running those roads a tranny cooler would come into play. But other than that the car pulled hard and handled well. I would encourage everybody to come down atleast one year... that was hella fun!!!
I used SRM the entire time, and felt fine to me. I'm no tuner, but do you think the SRM algorithm may not be optimized for the engine RPM characteristic under boost?

I wasn't experiencing any issues with the tranny, I was consistently down shifting to second for heavy engine breaking and acceleration through each turn. After running out and back I was finally able to get engine oil temp to 290 F and trigger limp mode for a minute. But most of the time my engine oil held at 280 F.

I agree, new pads will be a must next time. Having said that, the Sport Brakes held up MUCH better than the Base brakes on my '03 350Z. One run on the Dragon and they were trashed.
