Default Oil pressure sensor install

It took a week + but I finally finished the Stillen CBE, G3 intake, 19 row oil cooler and power steering cooler install and then did a 400 mile shake down cruise yesterday to get the break-in period behind me. I'll post some pics of the install tonight.

I luv the brute nature of this car and I feel secure in it. Some of the car's temperament reminds me of the go karts I raced for several years (125cc Tag and World Formula). This morning I had a little 1st and 2nd gear sound off with an Elise and can say I really like the on demand growl and snarl of the exhaust and intake especially given they are quite quiet at cruising speeds on the open road.

My next project is to install oil pressure and water temp gauges in the dash cubby hole above the radio. I have confidence in the Goodridge oil lines but would like to keep and eye on the pressure just the same. I'm going to permanently remove the cover and fashion a custom plate for the opening to mount the gauges into.

I'm not sure where to put the oil pressure sensor but my current thought is to take the sandwich plate to a machine shop and have them drill and tap a 1/8 NPT hole.

Has anyone fitted an oil pressure sensor yet, and if so where did you put it?

Thanks.

Bruce
