Yes, I've got the hole in the mat as well, after only a few months driving. Its bloody amazing what crap quality they are.
I had a 1990 RX7 for almost 19 years with the original mats and they never had this problem. How friggin' hard is it to make a mat that lasts? Especially for their 2nd top-of-the-line vehicle.
