The studs seam to be pretty long, I'm not sure the exact length. I put some 5mm washers on just to see how much thread was left, (did not leave them on, this was just a test) I got quite a few turns out of them, seams like it would be ok. It didn't seam to make a huge difference in looks though. I think 10mm, and maybe even 15mm on the rear, would be just about right, of course you would definitely need to replace studs then.
