It was confirmed that the "unlock" logo does not light up by design. I checked with two dealerships and it was further confirmed on the tech forum at
www.the370z.com.
Weird, but whatever.
Talked with the service department Passport and at the dealership where the car was originally purchased. Both are aware and said that, tentatively, it is probably isolated to the radio. We will see what they diagnose.
