I guess I will start it back up from winter 2015.

So my little guy turned one, my wife went back to work and I could safely breath again and feel ok spending money on my Z. Lol not so much me, more my other half would stress thinking I should wait till she went back to work. So I did, one year off mods it sucked Z wise :thumbs down:

I started off buying a shift knob as I knew once I installed the kit I had from thecarkitcompany, I would destroy my OEM one like most others…… and I did lol.

So I now have the Bypass kit with a rear view camera and this knob

Then I got myself a rear sway bar in early spring.

went with a whiteline front sway only. rear is still OEM

Looking back I realized I lied……….winter 2014

I installed a set of used SPL rear camber arms I got off a member WoRM IIRC

Really crappy old cell phone pic, should note that cell phone has been replaced it was scratched up and hurting……

http://i677.photobucket.com/albums/v...psvodmfqut.jpg

I also got around to installing the Zspeed under shield. Which I have since traded for a used '13 Nismo front bumper  I know have the Nismo Zspeed under shroud.

DISCLAIMER *** I DO NOT USE PURPLE POWER :yuk: REDLINE ONLY!!! It was just the box the local parts guy put my 12 bottles of Redline in from the shelf :tiphat:

LMBmikeZ 10-22-2015 09:21 PM

After the sway bar I locked down a deal on a set of stance GR+ true type coil overs

***space saved for when I find my coil over pics pre-instal***

so then I obviously needed more SPL parts

Went full rear SPL and added the toe arms, traction arms and the eccentric lock out kit :yum: fully adjustable rear suspension.

***space saved again***

photo bucket is taking forever to update sorry :tiphat:

Next on the suspension list:
SPL Front camber arm
air ride setup further down the road after some wheels

how about a temporary teaser for what it's leading to!

Mike, Next time you see your Z check the gap between hatch and rear bumper. Let me know what you think.

I already know what your are taking about and have seen it discussed in this and other threads. I already looked when it was all fitted and IMO it didn't look as bad as it does in pics.

Car is finally getting painted on Monday then they need a couple days to finish it up so I get it back thursday or friday. :happydance:

LMBmikeZ 10-27-2015 09:35 AM

Been talking with the body shop, car is progressing nicely and everything is looking on schedule  :excited:

Looks great Mike! You wouldn't happen to be selling your stock rear bumper, would you?

I hadn't put much thought into it…….

I am willing too though, just gotta figure out a price. Are you looking for a direct replacement with no paint work done to it? (only ask cause mine has one small spot on it that is scratched/damaged but very easily fixable)

Ahhh, yeah I was looking for one that didn't need any work too it. I'm having a hard time finding a shop that can replicate the oem KAV lol.

Ya unfortunately my rear has one spot on the driver side corner that needs to be repaired it is very small but it drove me nuts :shakes head: :icon17:

That's shitty you can't get a match paint wise, I would have thought any reputable shop would be able to :ugh2:

I know a bunch of 40th's in Ontario that are resprayed and all look great. Saw mine again today and it looks awesome and it's not even done yet! :excited:

LMBmikeZ 10-28-2015 04:52 PM

Went by today and they were just starting my custom accents. Everything is also still waiting for the clear coat and some final polishing etc. but hey I like seeing progress

http://i677.photobucket.com/albums/v...ps6ec2r3nu.jpg

ended up getting my OEM hood fixed up because I didn't know what was going to happen with seibon customer service regarding my first cf hood having fitment issues.

OEM hood is fixed and painted and fenders are blended :yum:

That's the problem lol, only a couple or so reputable shops in Edmonton IMO that I trust and they also know they are the only few that can paint properly lol was quoted $1000+ just to repaint the bumper!

That is nasty! you could get both F&R bumpers painted for that with people I know and it would be quality.

LMBmikeZ 11-02-2015 09:45 AM

I am FINALLY going to pick up my car today! Just waiting for my brother to come with the pick up to help bring home all the extra parts

Thanks guys, much appreciated. Today I will be out and about most of the day and I will be taking the camera with me. Hoping to find a few cool spots to snap some more pics!

Today I will also be installing my rear Z emblem. I have also been considering tinting the reverse strip on the tails. But I might wait and do that over the winter. I plan on taking the car off the road sometime next week.

zefaulter 11-04-2015 10:55 PM

Looks good Mike! Like the CF touch on the kit

LOOKS AWESOME! Extra props for not going with the 2015 front bumper like everyone else lol. Is it wrong of me to feel the stock 40th wheels look so good it might not be worth changing out!? Are you using spacers?

wheee! 11-17-2015 01:43 PM

meh, it's ok I guess....

:stirthepot: jk luv it!

thanks, yes I am using spacers

H&R DRS (drs - stud replacement) 20mm in the front
H&R DRM (drm - bolt on basically) 25mm in the rear

:iagree: partially on the wheels I love the look but keeping to the semi-OEM look I have I am thinking about going to the gunmetal Nismo wheels, not 100% but they are either the 12 or 13+ Nismo wheels. They are a little wider so I will be a little more flush even :yum:

IMO the price for the OEM sport and Nismo wheels are an awesome deal, it would be hard to find another forged wheel for similar prices.

Agreed, I'm currently looking at the gunmetal nismo wheels too, too bad our dollar sucks so bad....:shakes head:

LMBmikeZ 11-20-2015 04:56 AM

and don't I know it well………:shakes head:

the dollar has not been doing well for quite some time now. this past summer when I was getting a lot of these conversion parts they were coming from the states and ya it hurt and converting currencies :icon17:

zefaulter 11-20-2015 09:56 AM

Nismo wheels definitely will look great! I don't mind getting a set and paint them same as 40th wheel colour

LMBmikeZ 04-27-2016 05:07 AM

So I am about to pull the trigger on a set of wheels this year......... but I am still torn between a set of gunmetal nismo wheels or a aftermarket set of either Work wheels or Strasse forged already have quotes from work just waiting to finish taking with strasse this week.....

I will also update later tonight with pics of my splitter project too, it is a work in progress but coming along nicely
