Did you replace them with something other than Bridgestones?

Michelin Pilot Super Sports -- they are amazingly good.

I contacted Nissan a while ago, and was given a build number that is apparently already claimed by someone on this list. Trying to not to stir up anything, but is it possible that build numbers may be different depending on the country?

Well the 1000 40th ann. with the 40th quartz paint were made for the US. There was a 40th anniv. black edition for Europe. I don't know how many they built there but they have their own numbers

Yes, each country will have it's own build numbers. US is 1-1000, Canada is 1-120, etc. I assume you have a US car? Feel free to use my VIN lookup utility to confirm your build #.

Cool.....are they quieter than the Bridgestones? Those are some noisy tires.

It was my error. I assumed the running list on this thread was the build numbers, but it looks like it's just members adding themselves to the list of 40th owners. The VIN tool told me the same build number as the Nissan rep. Thanks!
