That input VSS is only for S-mode. It's sole purpose is S-mode.
You could ditch that system and go with the kit. Maybe use that speed sensor for something else.
Im sure this has been discussed however if I'm not mistaken the G transfer case casing is the same as the GTR. Not sure if this is of any help but there are some parts that you can use from the AWD Gs like the upper oil pan for diff mounting.
Unsure what subframe you're using however wouldnt surprise if the G37x coupe would fit or is what you're using.
I think LOJ did a Frontier 6 speed trans work for his LS Frontier. I remember most of his work were bell housing related and shifter axle angles.
He did work to the differentials for better ratios.

I finished the awd swap on the chassis and sold the car. Trans was to much of a pita to get to work, maybe someday I will finish the one I have. New owner is going to use it to drop in a rwd vr38 or Maybe use an 8hp with passenger drop transfer case. I know him pretty well so we'll see I'm sure it will make the rounds. The hybrid cd009 I was building is part z box part frontier box, with custom shift linkage, and the later style transfer case. We're I to do it again I would buy a t56 with passenger drop transfer case adapter or get an r32-34 box and run an adapter plate. For the awd I used a mix of g37x and q50 parts.
Edit: I moved over to an fx50 that with a tune and exhaust ran a 12.9. I'm putting a hellcat blower on it now to gain 300whp so it ticks the boxes.
