Google search the VIN #. If the vehicle is up for sale, it should show which dealership.

Most state DMV websites will provide free basic public information, such as whether there is an active title, lien, etc.

You can even try CarFax for a cost to view maintenance records from the time you sold, though it's not guaranteed if the new owner(s) DIY the maintenance.
