Fair point. I suppose it depends on the car. Many moons ago, I had a S2K that I sold to a buddy. 18 years later, he is still on the original radiator/hoses at 201K miles.

I thought the gallery gasket going bad was a "not likely" scenario that applied to mainly '09 to '12 models?

So the old coolant doesn't need to be drained/replaced? I figured if replacing the hoses, might as well replace the coolant, radiator, and thermostat.

For metal hoses, is there a way to see if they are pressurized?
