"Wall Street suddenly appears confident America will avoid a recession"

"Americans continue to feel better about inflation and the economy"

As I have always said, take the media with a grain of salt.

There are reports about a possibility of a recession being avoided. I hope I'm wrong on this, but I HIGHLY doubt we will avoid one, though it shouldn't be anything to the likes of the late 2000's (Great Recession). Not sure why people have this false sense of hope of avoiding one nevertheless.

On the other hand, a recession does have its perks and gives the economy a "reset" button. For those that wants rates to go down, a recession would trigger this.
