Showing my 40th some love.
I've had this car since 2011 and I absolutely love it (aside from the multiple steering lock column failures). It has just under 60k miles on it and been completely taken care of.
Early last year the clearcoat started to fail and within months it had failed all over the car and got worse by the day. Peeling clearcoat made driving way less fun and washing it made me cringe.
This put me in a dilemma of either selling it and going for the 2023 Z (or something else) or restoring. As you can tell I don't need to drive very much so getting a new car seemed like a complete waste, and what could I possibly love more than this car? no disrespect to the new Z as the back looks amazing! I don't love the front, specifically the headlights and after seeing the Proto on the road it just looked tiny and less mean than the 370.
It's been in the shop for a couple weeks getting that fresh complete paint job and I'll get to pick her up in a few days with some fresh external upgrades.

Still need to refinish the wheels or maybe even change them out, but I'm thankful I'm going to be able to start all over with my 370.
