Most of the things that require break in periods are usually compounds to grind themselves flat towards the surface (clutch, LSD, brakes, engines at times)

A M/T transmission will and shall perform the same from the start with the proper fluid.

My best recommendation is to take this time to If you have clutch adjustment options to adjust it to a proper feel and engagement as well as going over your shifter bushings and making sure the shifting mechanism is solid.

This will increase your chances at not grinding your brand new transmission.

The rest will be fluid maintenance and observation, they dont need oil coolers either.
