Other companies mess with names and numbers something aweful. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. Time will tell here.

The fact is plain and simple to me. If they wanted to keep with tradition, this should have been a 300Z, or the 300ZX. If they wanted the very best marketing for main stream people, it should have been the 400Z, or 400ZX. Bigger is better when it comes to mass public marketing.

Are we really STILL discussing this? Wow. Time to move on folks.

For me, the one and only upside is this car is faster (and it has an extra cup holder - haha). That's it. Its not as good looking as the 370, the wheel options completely suck compared to the 370 Sport, the must "go all in" $10k package thing is worse than the 370 Sport/Touring split or together option, the must pay more for and get 2 tone for most colors sucks bad, the old dash is better (all the electronic gismo is just modern gimmicky), and I don't care if the handling is slightly better (which I seriously doubt) it has electronic power steering assist (something I typically HATE). So nope, no dice. This is not an upgrade car. This is a cool car if you don't have a 370 already. For me, forget about it. I'm keeping the 370 by a LONG mile.

This^^^^ This is EXACTLY how I felt about the 370 when it came out! No way I was giving up my 350 for a 370!! I stuck it to the man by waiting a couple years and buying a brand new one!! I sure showed him!!
