Don’t worry, it’s not. Nissan always lists DRY weight, which is meaningless but obviously makes them look better.

Unless the z35 has some amazing new jdm tech that allows it to run with no oil, no coolant, no brake fluid, no gas, etc, that number is meaningless

WET weight is what matters, the car, with full fluids. Add 100 lbs at least to that 3252 # and that’ll be where it really lands.

Our old ‘13 nismo iirc had a listed DRY weight of 3300 lbs. it’s actual WET weight was just over 3400 lbs.

With all the new safety tech etc that adds so much weight and the fact this is a heavily revised 370 fm platform, which itself was a revised 350z fm platform, a real weight of around 3350 lbs is very good. To go lighter you really need a bespoke chassis like caymans and 911s, or vette etc. that would make this car 10-20k more right out the gate and would kill sales.
