I think the 350z guys got the C38R into a few builds and saw some fairly positive builds, I think with the 370z you either had the GTM kit already and not much sense in an upgrade or waiting to see if someone builds a new kit with Rotrex.

Overall this should do wonders for the 370z FI folks, now we have a real viable SC option with some modern updates, with plenty of TT, and of course BP for T.
GTM used the C38-91 as a max blower. They mounted the SC down under the manifolds with the filter so close it would actually melt, meaning it would ingest a ton of heat. The improved version which moved the filter away took some harsh bends in order to do so which as we all know restricts power.

How many 350z guys can you show me that made the swap to a C38R-112? I know of one and he gained 5psi with the same belt setup and harsh charge piping. He was running a pulley setup that was initially designed around an 81 and not a 112. They designed their kits with looking stock before performance so they had to smash a small intercooler inbetween the factory crash bar and the radiator shroud so it is undersized for these newer power levels....etc..
