I did that, and it was fine. But the idle was not perfect.

However, my car was remote tuned and so I have Ecutek on my laptop.

So, I used the Ecutek software to perform the idle learn, and the motor was happy. Real easy.

This idle learn process can be done without Ecutek, but it may be difficult manually - and might need a trip to the dealer to complete the idle learn process.

I did not see much change in the AFR after install, so I did not retune it just for TB’s.

Your situation may be different.
