I've installed a wireless backup camera for my younger sister. Purchased on Amazon. Camera mounts to rear license plate, can adjust angle, gets power from reverse light, and wirelessly send signal the little screen that comes with the pkg.

Subjective experience:

Image delay is no more than the OEM setup in Nissan, to my surprise.
Day time resolution is a little lower than OEM.
Low light video is a little choppier than OEM.

It was "anything was way better than nothing" type of situation, so I did not scrutinize the image quality and smoothness. Lighting makes a big difference for night time video quality. Change rear backup light, or even add more light source will help with any camera (aftermarket rear fog that lights up, or even reputable LED light bar mounted under rear bumper).

If image quality is of the utmost important, then to be honest, I don't think our OEM setup is good enough anyway.
