After talking to someone else that has become a sc expert, he thinks I'm over spinning the blower and taking it out of it's efficiency range. It's spinning at almost 63000rpm, same pulley combo as my old blower but this blower is less efficient so it can't run at that rpm. The max rpm on this blower is 55000.

There shouldn't be any reason why the motor would have a bent rod, it was perfectly fine before. I say shouldn't, of course I'm not positive.
