Why would they bother for a car that now sells in such tiny volumes? With the price discounting that has taken place on the 370Z over the years (at least here in Australia) the margin can't be that high on each sale, and there are plenty in the used market to satisfy any ongoing demand.

In fact, as someone with a 2020 built 370Z, I hope they do stop making them this year as I'd love to have one of the last Z34s built, the end of an era. The less 370Zs around new, the better the exclusivity for existing owners.

It's really not a problem if there is a year or so between when the last Z34s are produced and when the first Z35s go into production. That will give all the dealers around the world a decent chance to sell all remaining Z34 inventory, and build hype for the Z35.
