I was factoring that in. The collapse issue would not have happened had the back wall been built properly. Original construction done with hollow block on a pad. Should have been done with rebar in the block, into the pad, and block filled with concrete to make it act like a single contiguous surface. Huge difference in strength as well. Dirt was up the back wall about 5 feet.

New plan includes french drain system for the back wall to prevent some of the same build up of pressure. Between the increase in strength and the better drainage, we'll be alright. Hell, the original poor construction still lasted 50 years. I just happened to come in at the end of those 50
