Default Found some misc bits in the oil pan

Background is the Z was purchased new, daily driven for 6 years and is now getting built for more track reliability. Driving during it's life has been mostly highway with a good bit of hard driving including a couple of very limited track stints (due to oil temps).

It finally got on the lift today and a couple of different things were found in the lower oil pan, which has never been removed before. There were 2 small metal pieces and 2 pieces of gasket. The photos show one of the metal pieces and one of the pieces of gasket broken in half. The 2 pieces not shown were extremely similar to those in the photo.

Kevin isn't really sure where they came from. And isn't sure there's much we can do about it. We are moving forward as planned. The upper oil pan and oil pump are coming off tomorrow along with the front timing cover. So he'll be digging a little deeper in the oil pathways and can at least keep an eye out for anything amiss.

I have spoken with several knowledgeable people and no one really has a solid idea what it is or what it came from. If you have any thoughts, please share.
