I live on the Upper East Side, very near to the Triborough Bridge, which takes me out of Manhattan to Long Island and our friends, beaches and other recreational areas. Very often, even in the Winter on a sunny day, my wife and I will get in the car just to cruise, go to lunch, just clear our heads with a crisp drive out of the city. Typically, without in any way limiting our driving, we drive about 3000 miles a year, that's just the way it works out. And we have been doing it this way since around 1988, when we bought an '88 Camaro IROC Z28. My daughter was born soon after and we had a car seat in a Camaro. No Problem!
