The difference here is the potential long term impact it has to the lungs (permanent scar tissues) and that one can get reinfected, which are different than flu. This is for people that got infected but didn’t die.

Obviously some people feel the need to add their assumed 'credentials' as a way to make their point appear more valid than the prior, or next. I personally think to do so denegrates one's point or opinion.
