I live in NYC/NJ area where we have this thing called winter that produces these things called pot holes. Some of which are massive and on the off chance I hit one, I don't want the tire to smash into the fender. So flushness isn't the priority. The way it sat when I tested it was just on the inside of the flare
which is exactly what I wanted. All I came here for was to ask about best tire choices..
