On the 2012, I ran all-seasons and put 2 tubes of sand in the hatch. I put the sand in when the first sleet/snow was predicted, usually early November. My 2015 is going to be parked here in about 2 weeks. I have a beater to drive now.
Watch the forecast. When the temps are going to be below 40*, put the winter tires on. The summers become hockey pucks in the 40 to 50* range...
