That is subjective, I had them with the whole Fast Intentions system, and the system was loud at start up and got much quieter as it warmed up. It sounded good, almost exotic in higher RPM's. Not loud enough to get a ticket, but loud enough to turn heads when showing off. The system was not too loud to have a conversation in the car, I did turn up the stereo more than before to hear the tune better. It is noticeably quieter with the factory cats back on, the wife says it is better this way.
These are the resonated pipes, so they are much quieter than non-resonated pipes.
