The last long block swap I was involved with was swapping a 2012 VQ37HR donor engine from a 2012 G37 into a 2009 370Z. Look for a VQ37HR engine that is from a 2012+ Sedan G37 RWD. The engine swap will interchange but minor things like injectors and some random sensors have changed over the years you will see if you install a engine from the 2008-2011 years. The only differences we encountered was the coolant rerouting hose was different but can be capped off and the engine mounts were slightly different polyurethane engine mounts were installed instead of the Genuine Nissan engine mounts so, check the engine mounts and make sure they are compatible if not purchase new ones. Other than that everything from your 09 370Z VQ37HR can swap right over it is interchangeable. This is a great opportunity to install a upgraded oil pump. Best of luck with your swap every situation can be different.
