It's a long arse drive dude. Idk if 11+ hours each way is worth it for only 2 days.
Wife and I did it as a road trip. We stopped in Roanoke, VA on the way down and stayed the night there at an AirBnB. Plenty of stops for coffee. Picked some state parks to hike in a bit (rain made that tricky this past year). 11 hours in a stretch is rough, but if you break it up, it's a lot more manageable.
