At first I thought it had water in the gas but i added dry gas and filled up the tank. It continues to do it. The check engine light just came on. The car is still fairly new with 6000 miles on it. Anyone ever hear of something like this?
The code that would be pulled because the check engine light is on would be one of the first clues. The problem is some mechanics get tunnel vision and they just believe the "trouble code" to the letter not suspecting anything else that could be at fault. Time and time again car problems are misdiagnosed and expensive car parts are replaced which were perfectly good to begin with. Some mechanics aren't good troubleshooters, just good parts replacers.
