With or without the template, you'd still have to eyeball it and ensure the template or duckbill are lined up evenly, using the hatch's brake light. If it doesn't have a template, have another person help you, on person holds the spoiler or template, and once aligned evenly, the other person uses painter's tape to outline the corners, top and bottom.

Look up 350z and 370z duckbill install videos on YouTube. There are also plenty who simply used 3m tape and didn't drill any holes. If you opt for this, ensure you prep properly, and get those 3m adhesion promoter wipes, they sell them in packs of 3 on Amazon for like $10.
