I'm not sure it got that cold last night here. It will be in the 90s in another hour. Triple digits once again.
Had our hottest day - 111F - since Aug 2011 on Monday (thankfully, I was in MN). While in MN I heard that some sort of sign literally caught on fire in Austin due to the heat. Probably cause of this article:

The actual cause was from the workers trying to remove the sign using a blowtorch as stated here:
