Sounds like the auto body shop may have damaged it. That tailgate is aluminum and can bend very easy if the spoiler is man handled. Example being, opening or shutting the hatch applying force to the spoiler.

it was man handled for sure, the edges are no longer smooth super jagged, but i am getting it back today so hope ots perfect ill let ya know.
