I agree it is probably overly cautious to worry about new spacers or hub adapters manufactured by a reputable company (e.g. H&R) and installed correctly on a street driven vehicle.
Then again, there are some who would argue there is no such thing as overly cautious.

Proper fitment is always better than adapting ill-fitting wheels. Looks like OP is doing the right thing
