IF you were to bypass the bose amp and wire the bose speakers directly to the head unit. Yes you would blow the tweeters.

If you simply buy the harness and head unit this is integrate into the bose amp and speakers. You won't have to touch the amp or speakers at all.
But doing this is only going to give you better sound quality not necessarily higher volume.
