The only way you will blow something is if you bypass the amp. Basically speakers are designed to play certain frequencies. to simplify things, smaller drivers play high frequencies, the bigger the driver the lower it plays. (to simply put things.) The Bose amp has crossovers built in. (this is what separates high frequencies from the low.) If a tweeter gets signal that is to low for it to handle, it will blow. If you directly wire the radio in place, without bypassing the amp, it will work, just don't go crazy with the volume. If you bypass the amp, you will need to switch out speakers since the ohm loads of the speakers are so crazy. If you go this route, you might as well get an amp for your speakers since you will have to run new wires anyway.

Unless they make an amp bypass harness, I have not looked into that.
