I believe I'm going to have my amps installed on that spot on the carpeted walls next week. I think the installer is going to use a silicon base on the metal behind the carpet, and then use wood rails on the other side of the carpet, screw those two together, and then screw the amps into the wooden rails. That way you don't possibly change the integrity of the car by screwing holes into the metal.

I recall someone else saying on the other side of that wall is the gas tank.


edit: Just want to make clear, the spot I am talking about is actually below where bigaudiofanat did his install. My amps are way too damn big to fit up there nicely. I also wanted to have the wires run more cleanly.
