Definitely not alone. This was my primary problem with the Z and why i havent got one yet. I'd have to immediately find a new steering wheel thanks to the lack of telescoping on the wheel, where as its mych better on the G.
NRG makes the most affordable wheel spacer solution with a few sizes i believe. Then of course you have OMP and Sparco amongst a few others. Are you still using the Oem wheel?
