Last few days have been spent working on removing my aluminum crash bar, modifying said bar to accommodate the larger Z1 intake filters, and replacing it. I accomplished the cutting work with a sawzall, a metal blade, and some tapping oil to keep cutting temps down and to keep the aluminum from binding to the blade (worked perfectly). Brought it into work where my coworker tig welded end caps on to keep it rigid (and repaired some of my over zealous cutting) and put it back on the vehicle. Not bad!
