Come on now, try not to tear into the guy because he doesn't drive a "super uber" manual. To avoid an arguement I will just restate what myself and others have said: it's YOUR car, only YOU can make the right choice, not somebody else!

Want good advice? Drive them both! Then ask yourself "does this make me happy? Will I be 100 percent satisfied with my purchase?" If the answer to either of those questions is no then just walk away!

Post pics whatever you decide!

dont wanna come off like im tearing into anybody, but the traffic excuse is absurd to me. But like he said, try both and make your decision.

Good luck with the buy Bullseye. Hope you get the car you want.

Bullseye had been eyeing my blue Touring/Sport/6 spd but was worried about the shipping costs from cross country. Anyone have experience doing that before or know what it costs?

I know an easier way, apply for financing, receive financing, purchase one way ticket, you pick him up from the airport, finance place is contacted with your bank info, payment received, road trip for bullseye. Woo, problem solved!

Only shipped a car one time and that was from NJ to FL and it was about $800. I would think you could get a car shipped from anywhere to anywhere in the continental US for under $1k.

You purchased a car without seeing or driving it first! I don't think I could ever do that!

Only if you were in reasonable driving distance. I would consider driving up to 300-400 miles but 2,600 miles one way is a little extreme!
That blue is hard to find!

2,600 miles is indeed a long way to go. I drove 2,200 from Kentucky to Oregon when I moved here. It was a very Kerouac sort of experience. Did it in 3 days. It was a fun trip. All except for Nebraska. It's long, straight, and nothing but farms and manure.

Recently had a friend drive home one of the very last Buell motorcycles, direct off the line the day they closed. He got stuck in snowstorms in the mountains. THAT was dedication.

Drove both manual and auto today! Here is my conclusion. If this was my only car, I would def get a 6-speed, no question. But since it will be a secondary / commuter car I could go either way. Doesn't matter if it is auto or manual as long as I can find a really good deal on a Touring with sport/nav!
If I can't locate another one, besides this black one I found, in the next week, I'm gonna go get it! Hope its not sold by then.

Thanks for everyones input!
